"Case acceptance is great and stress is way down. Thanks to Paul, our case acceptance for large cases over $10,000 is way up and our stress is way down. We use the same principles with quadrant dentistry and patients love it. This is by far the best course on the art of case acceptance available in dentistry."

Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) Designation

Certified Speaking Professional

A Certified Speaking Professional, more commonly known as a CSP, is a speaker whose title has been awarded by the US-based National Speakers Association and by the National Speakers Association of Australia. This title is bestowed only if the individual has earned it by meeting strict standards. Having the initials, CSP, follow a speaker's name indicates that the speaker has proven experience, competence, and knows how to satisfy his client. CSP is the speaking profession's international measurement of professional platform mastery.

Is It Difficult to Become a CSP?

The International Federation for Professional Speakers is composed of professional speaking associations throughout the world. However, less than 10% of its members hold the distinguished title of CSP. To become a Certified Speaking Professional, a speaker must meet the following criteria:

  • Maintain membership and subscribe to the Code of Professional Ethics
  • Serve a minimum of 100 different clients within 5 years
  • Present a minimum of 250 professional speaking engagements within this 5 year period
  • Submit testimonial letters from clients served
  • Submit professionally prepared promotional materials
  • Receive excellent ratings from past clients on professional performance evaluations
  • Continue education in the professional speaking field

Why should I hire a CSP?

The success of a meeting is often dependent on the experience, polish, and competency of the presenter. Allowing a CSP to represent you enhances the likelihood that the message you want to be delivered, will be better focused and will hopefully remain in the memories and action plans of your attendees.

A CSP is a known entity. You don?t have to worry about whether or not your message is delivered so that it will be understood and retained by your audience. CSPs are committed to outstanding service and ethical behavior and offer a wide variety of approaches, topics and styles. Only you can determine which speaker will best fit your needs.

National Speakers Association (NSA)
